Mentoring involves an experienced business helping a small business to identify new ways to address safety.
Learn more about the benefits realised by our previous mentors and mentees in our new mentor e-book. It’s a great insight into how your small business could benefit from participating in our mentor program.
Some of the benefits include access to free advice and assistance from someone who understands your work health and safety challenges and can suggest innovative solutions to everyday problems. You may also be eligible to apply for our $500 safety rebate.
If you are an experienced business professional with expertise in workplace health and safety and/or injury management, becoming a mentor will enhance your leadership skills and provide an opportunity to network with like-minded professionals.
The program runs for three to six months and you can decide the time commitment so it fits around your work schedules. For more information, view or print a copy of our mentor program brochure.
You can listen to the experiences of people in previous years in our short videos below.
Raymond Small, Small Horse Education Centre and Dearne Murray Safety, Health & Environmental Advisor and RTW Coordinator, BAE Systems Flight Training.
